forever a work in progress.

The Leader and the Man Within

Are you courageous enough to tell your own story?

Ethan Spelman was asked this rhetorical question several years ago when he took part in a candid video interview about courage and leadership. And for most of his life, that question was a very easy one to answer – always with a resounding "NO."

But all that has changed in recent years – after Ethan immersed himself in the transformative power of leadership done right. Today, he not only is actively sharing his own story as a published author, but is inspiring others and sharing his life and leadership wisdom as a professional coach and respected leader in the financial services industry. "I'm sharing my story," he writes in the preface of his first book, Leadership Over Loneliness, "because I believe it is one that can bring hope, courage, inspiration, and maybe even conviction to others."

Ethan forever considers himself a work in progress – and works diligently to make his dreams a reality, whether it's writing his first book about leadership, becoming a certified coach, or launching ETS Coaching and Development, LLC. He now has accomplished all three of those dreams, all while immersed in an impressive career in the financial services industry for more than 25 years.

Ethan is a certified life and performance coach through the International Coaching Federation, and a certified speaker and coach with the John Maxwell team. He welcomes invitations to speak and inspire at conferences, seminars, and book clubs.
