What is a moment?
How quickly do moments go by and how often do we take them for granted? Some moments are made to be cherished – while others? We can easily want to forget them. Moments can be gone in a second, or can last for hours or even days. Moments are made to be won or lost. Moments are made for memories, or for clarity for what is to come.
To WIN the moment you must be IN the moment. To be IN the moment, you must allow yourself to be present. All too often there is noise always looking to distract us from what can be right in front of us. Not with intent or purpose, but with natural surrounding and the environment of technology that surrounds us.
It is rare for a moment to be exactly duplicated. If we are focused on the next thing or the last thing, while the present is now – we risk losing the moment we are in and in turn leaving an opportunity to learn and grow behind us. So as we are growing and learning, let's commit to being more present and reflective in the moments we are in. Pressing PAUSE to ground ourselves in the moments that matter. Don't leave it to chance, be disciplined and intentional in your commitment to WIN YOUR MOMENTS whatever they may be.
How are you winning?
