To Adapt...or Not?

For as long as we have been on this planet, the human species has had to evolve or adapt to the environment in which we have lived. In some cases, we have had to adapt reactively; other times, we have the foresight to adapt based on what seems to be on the horizon.
But here's the truth: Change is inevitable. Nothing in life is constant and sometimes the harder we try to resist change, the more difficult and chaotic things become. So we have a choice: we can ADAPT, or we can choose not to – and in doing so, risk stagnating.
Choosing to be adaptable can propel us to growth. Sure, uncertainty that faces us can be challenging because it isn’t the norm. And it often comes with fear. But when we choose to live with a GROWTH MINDSET, we step into that uncertainty and strive to adapt to the new normal. It's not always easy. But if we freeze or step back, we become limited and hinder our path toward greater things.
Our past experiences help define who and where we are today. But it is through our steps forward and our courage to adapt that we create an environment of experience, learning, development – and growth! So remain open to the space around you and be willing to adapt. That's how we keep getting better!
