The Crosses We Bear

OK...I am just putting a few things out there. Life happens TO us. Growth is NOT linear and doesn't happen without intention and choice. It is a journey and there is no destination. It is about chasing progress while living with our imperfections.
What does this all mean? Let's try this: In the growth journey we are all on, it is important to remember that mindset matters, attitude is amplified, and intention is implied in all choices. But that does not mean that if we remember this, life won't get in the way.
We are given crosses to bear at many stages in our life. Some are placed on us, while others are the result of our own choices. They come in many shapes and sizes and can teach us so much as we move forward if we are open to learning from them.
When faced with the weight of the struggle of the moment, use that moment to pause, reflect, and face it head on. To ignore it can only ask it to grow heavier by the moment. Connect with your circle, connect with yourself, be open enough to navigate, and learn from what you are facing.
The most important thing to remember? You are not alone. As I've stated, growth is a journey – but not a journey to always be taken solo. Stay connected to your people along your journey so that when those crosses come at you, you can get the support to stay on course. Stay connected so you can celebrate wins. And stay connected so when your awareness tilts or your axis shifts your direction, you have the support you need to keep moving forward.
The crosses we bear don't have to be debilitating. They can be a moment of learning – which means you are still growing. And at the end of the day, isn't that the journey we are are all on?
How are you winning?
