I've Fallen...and I CAN Get Up!

This week: short and sweet.

To grow means to learn. To learn means to fail. To fail means to fall. To fall means you have a choice: Do you get back up or do you stay down for the count?

Growth and creating a mindset of growth is a journey. In that journey there is no straight line. We are forced to take detours. Some by our choice, others by the environments or scenarios created around us.

But unlike the commercial of the past, when we fall we CAN get up. We can choose growth and choose to learn. For me? It can be a daunting task to look up and wonder how am I going to get up? To be trusting enough to be vulnerable with my people...looking for those hands...looking to help pull me up because I have CHOSEN to.

Staying down and not fighting to get up after failure can feel the worst, but is often the easiest choice. But let's say that gone are the days of staying down. I am open to know we will all make mistakes. Even after we get up, it will happen again. But it is how you choose to RISE and what lessons you carry with you that will help when that next detour gets in the way of your path.
