Nothing Can Be Something

In life, we are always faced with choices. I think back to times in my life when I have had to make a choice. Sometimes that choice could be one thing or another. Other times, there could be multiple options to choose from. There is always one constant with choice: You can choose NOTHING.
But what does choosing nothing mean? Is it the best choice?
Nothing is something. Nothing is status quo. Nothing is comfortable. Nothing can be succumbing to the fear of the unknown. Nothing can be easy. Just remember: When that opportunity for choice happens – if you choose nothing – nothing changes. It is when you choose nothing, nothing becomes something. As we are growing and learning, is that the something you want to learn from? Maybe, at times.
When presented with a choice, don't let nothing be the safety net. If you are choosing nothing, let nothing be the something that is a catalyst for growth. Let nothing be growing. If nothing doesn't challenge you to grow and allow for learning, maybe it is time to be disciplined and intentional at evaluating what is in front of you so you can make the choice that does. In the moment of choice, choose growth, choose the uncomfortable, and if you do choose nothing – make sure that nothing is something that is the catalyst of growth. Your growth!
How are you winning????
