Say What You Do, Do What You Say

Updated: Jul 9, 2024

For 129 straight weeks, I have written about growth, about mindset, about awareness, about learning from failure, and about the journey of life and how we can choose the path that lies ahead.

Sometimes, the path is presented to us when we least expect it. We still have to choose to step into the unknown and do with intent and an openness to fear and the excitement of what is and can be.

Today I write on the precipice of change. Today I am left to reflect on what brought me to this place. The people, the lessons, the growth. The easy choice? To stay with the status quo.... to stay on the road I have been on, serving those I have grown to care for and watch grow with me. BUT to NOT take that step onto the road created before me would be me not living up to the lessons I have shared these past 129 weeks and those I will continue to share going forward. The past is what helped me get this choice, this opportunity. The past allows me to reflect and draw strength, knowing the opportunity in front of me is because of that same past and lessons learned.

Today I choose to do what I say. To live in the uncomfortable of what is to come, and be appreciative of those who have walked with me. I realize the path ahead may look different – but it is wide open with the same opportunity, growth, and learning that I have lived in my most recent journey.

I challenge all of you that through your own journey, stay committed to your path, be aware of what is in front of you, and be open to pivot – open to what that will do for you and those around you.

Keep growing, keep stepping forward, and know that the road less traveled is always in front of us because of the past we created. It allows for the excitement to come.

How are you winning?!
